Winter and the Cold Blood Creatures

We often refer to insects as cold blood creatures. As a Pest Control Professional, I get asked constantly where bugs go when it's cold outside. Do they hibernate? Do they get dormant? Or do they go on vacation? Those questions can be easily answered "NO". What they actually do is simple: They forage to a warmer location! Since insects cannot regulate the internal temperature of their bodies like we humans do, the outside temperature will usually determine where they forage to. An enclosed area can be an ideal location like a wall void, a garage, or an attic. So the next time you wonder why you're seeing roaches inside in a cold winter night, Call 561-929-2737 for a free Roach job estimate!
